I’d like to think you’re right, but look what just happened.

The Republicans just won back the majority with this severely flawed leadership. That tells that leadership that they can do any damned thing they want, and still win.

Short of simply refusing to ever vote for a Republican again, what can we do?

This game is rigged. We all know it. And we all know we’re never going to end this B. S. treachery.

At least not the way we’ve been approaching it.

I have supported, then objected to third parties. I’m supporting them again.

Without a third party, we’ll never change Washington. That much is abundantly clear.

Too late for this.

Washington will never change with or without a third party. The uniparty is never, ever going to tolerate the rise of an outside power that challenges its hegemony. To put it bluntly, there simply is no political solution at the Federal level. The uniparty is very good at making sure it stays in power.

Ironically, that’s actually kind of liberating. Once you realize that there is no point in bothering with politics at the federal level, all sorts of other alternatives outside traditional politics open up. Ultimately, we all are the ones who decide whether or not we’re free.
