Not “bravado”, friend.

Just people getting fed up with listening to “It’s Over! We’re Toast! Run Away! Run Away!” It gets old.

That’s all.

Yeah... we KNOW things are crappy right now. They’ve been crappy before. They downright SUCKED quite a few times too. But they got better because good people fought back - mentally, spiritually, and physically, when it required to do so.

There have always been doom and gloomers, and there’s also always been those folks ready willing and able to throw in the towel at the worst possible moment. But they only succeed when others give up and give in.

The will to resist is important. As the words go, so goes the attitude; as the attitude goes, so goes the will.

That’s what’s going on here.

I understand where you are coming from but as I have stated many times in FR, I don’t see anyone ever physically standing up except for the Bundy Ranch incident which I have said was awesome.

I type too slow NFHale and it would take too long for me to explain my thoughts. And I doubt my thoughts would even be allowed on FR. Let’s just say IMO it’s time for physical action by good men.

BTW, I got through to a live voice at the Capitol Switchboard in a few seconds just now, and then to my incoming Senator's office immediately after.

Yes, I get a kick out of being part of a "swamp the phone lines today!" campaign, because even when I can't get through to a live voice, I know I did my part to get their attention through mass action.

But there's also value of a different type, when you call at the non-busy times like now, getting through in a few seconds to a staffer (who is NOT so harried that they're in the mode of "Let's get through this as quickly as possible!"), and having time to clearly state your position to them, and asking questions that get a real response that requires thought on their part.
