Republican Reps. Justin Amash (R-MI), Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Dave Brat (R-VA), Mo Brooks (R-AL), Paul Broun (R-GA), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Tim Huelskamp (R-KS), Walter Jones (R-NC), Jim Jordan (R-OH), Steve King (R-IA), Raul Labrador (R-ID), Tom Massie (R-KY), Bill Posey (R-FL), Matt Salmon (R-AZ) and Steve Stockman (R-TX) held the line and voted no. Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-MI) switched his vote from nay to yay at the last minute.
If the numbers that are being reported50 to 60, maybe moreof Republicans hold on against the final passage of the bill later in the day, and all the Democrats who opposed the rule oppose the bill, the bill would fail on final passage. It remains to be seen what will happen.

Too bad they couldn’t kill it.
Good. Get a few more Republicans to vote against it, and then tell the Media the Democrats led the effort to kill the procedural bill which would fund the government.
everybody wins.
Coward!
Lame Duck Coward. What was his price?
BONER TRIES TO FLEX MUSCLE
But can’t remember where he left it.
I love Jim Jordan, who is in the district just north of mine. Great congressman.
Hope the Dems kill it. But they won’t. Boner gave Obama what he wants - the gift that keeps on giving as long the House GOP is stupid enough to keep this vile d*****e bag in power!
Boehner is an embarrassment, period. He is a corrupt, dishonest, incompetent and duplicitous politician. The sooner he leaves, the better. He is also a disgrace to America.
Methinks someone's pocket got lined.
And they voted his sorry arse back in as speaker. Terrible.
It sounds like Kerry Bentivolio needs to get 30 pieces of solver or visits from his constituents that make clear that he will be held accountable.
solver = silver. Drat.
To get a perspective on how bad this bill is, the WH is now signaling that Obama supports it.
This was the rule vote, which allows a later vote on the bill.
Maybe with some prodding from the folks, more Republicans will vote AGAINST the actual bill.
All Dems voted against the rule, so we know where they stand.
They stand for shutting down the government.
All we need is a handful of Pubs to vote no, and this thing goes back to square one.
Those of you with GOP reps, your calls will make the difference. My rep is a Dem. He already voted no, so that is fine with me.
How is that possible? Bentivolio is a lame duck congressman, he goes home in a week and does not come back in January.
How do you expect to ‘hold him accountable’????

Kill the bill!!
They still could. From Breitbart:
If the Boehner omnibus is killed for good later in the day, congressional leadership is planning to change tack and move forward with a three-month stopgap spending bill, or a clean Continuing Resolution.
I grant you that the likelihood seems remote, but they were within a few votes even on this procedural try.
If they fold and pass the three month clean bill, we truly have won a solid victory.
Boner will look like the idiot he is and they they will have to start all over again in the spring with everything up for grabs...at least as much as they ever are in that circle-jerk in D.C.
Call your representative if you have a chance.
Gee, see Ferguson or NYC or what are his local business ties, etc.
