The measure aims to fund all government agencies through September 2015, except for the Department of Homeland Security, which would be extended only through late February, providing Republicans leverage over the agency implementing the Obama immigration order.

Senate Amendment to H.R. 83
1603 pages. I saw an estimate that one would have to read 31 pages/hr to read it before the vote....
a sad tale of politique these days..
living hand to mouth, much as a majority of folks..
and to think, they have the power to change so much for the better..
but choose not to do it.
The EXEMPT did not even read it.
Time for a true second party. The Uniparty has to go.
Democrats the NOW minority OWN the Republicans through fear. Lord help us all. I quit calling my self a Republican a few years back. I am a right wing nut now. Forced into it , like it or not.
In the inimical words of Paul Newman - “we have a failure to communicate.” I’m calling my representative tomorrow - I may challenge him in a primary. The republicans are failing to govern. Barry is not going to spend money on the border anyway,
The only work I want to see Congress doing is to systematically dismantle the numerous extra-Constitutional Federal bureaucracies.

Why is the current HoR and Senate - many members of which were sent packing - getting ANY vote on spending which happens after January? This is a very bad decision.
