[Updated 12/9/14 10 a.m.] Three McMinnville police officers involved in the fatal Nov. 15 shooting of Juventino Bermudez-Arenas, who had just stabbed to death Linfield College student Parker Moore at the counter of a convenience mart, acted reasonably and lawfully, according to a report released late Monday afternoon by Yamhill County District Attorney Brad Berry.

His hands were up. They shot.
Claim is he wouldn't drop the weapon and had clinched fists.

The man shot had just murdered a store clerk. Did want to post that before you see the video.
It’s called non judicial killing.
Banana land dictators call them death squads.
Murderer off the streets and the taxpayers don’t have to fund his incarceration and court appeals for 30+ years.
Suicide by cop.
I guess Pedro no comprende.
Bullshit...the perp just murdered someone.
Depending on the makeup of the jury the taxpayers may end up giving his family 10s of millions of dollars.
If I used a legal concealed gun to stop a crime, believe me, it would be on the ground when the cops arrived.
Pedro was a murdering doofus.
Now he is a dead murdering doofus.
Perhaps if he didn’t want to die he shouldn’t have just intentionally murdered someone.
Yeah. . .the universal language of a cop pointing a gun at someone just isn’t clear enough to some. . .no matter what language you speak. . .and when you are hiding and then are found out and continue to hold a knife in your hand. . .not too bright.
Thought the female cop was stupid for walking IN FRONT of the officers that had their weapons aimed at the guy.
Dumb all over, maybe a little ugly on the side....
Do we have reasonable proof that the perp wouldn’t drop the weapon when commanded?
There was no doubt... NONE that this guy just murdered someone. Do you EXPECT the cops to attempt to physically disarm someone with a deadly weapon clenched in hand who has ALREADY killed someone only minutes ago?
That’s insane. You get one chance, maybe two depending on how much the cops feel like yelling to drop your weapon. Then you get shot. Maybe you survive that, likely you don’t.
I can’t see what the perp might have been holding in that video. I’m sure the GJ had all the info and witness reports.
Bad cops should be dealt with. Were these bad cops? Or just people with a bad job dealing as the situation required with someone who just murdered someone else?
Do we really have to get worked up over this?
Maybe it's a bad idea to slaughter innocent people for no reason. It tends to make the people in your immediate vicinity not trust you.
Good kill. Glad the moron died.
those ruling also get appealed and often are knocked down significantly.
Notice no screeching about the guy who stabbed a kid in a NY synagogue last night before being eliminated buy a good guy with a gun.
Almost the exact same situation except one was put down by a cop and the other was put down by a private security guard.
The fact is, the people overwhelmingly want these people killed summarily, at the time of the offense, just like this.
If you think otherwise, I humbly suggest that you are just ignorant of American history.
You cannot have an orderly society where the police are trusted as much as an offender or 'suspect'.
Sounds crazy, perhaps, to you, but, I'm here to tell you that there are truckloads of anarchic bad actors out there who have no problem just walking up like this pigmented person did, and killing an innocent industrious clerk at a legitimate store.
The choice is ours: Do we want the anarchic, drugged up, communistic, uneducated, uncivilized barbarians to have the advantage in our judicial system.
I say forcefully no, the decent people in this country say forcibly no, and American history documents thoroughly that the people want the law to have every consideration to kill this sort of person, without fanfare or legal hairsplitting.
And now that so many anarchic individuals have become emboldened by the recent OWS and other protests of Ferguson and Staten Island criminal pseudo-martyrs, we are going to see more and more brazen attacks on normal people in the real world.
And in response, civilized society is going to have to respond with total support for the police, total contempt for the criminals and accused, and obviously jury nullification is going to be the coin of the realm. The other side uses it, and we must use it. Oh yes, impeach permissive judges, and other politicians with any leftist inclinations, weak or strong. Those measures, and the Second Amendment, will see us through this turbulence to better times, times that resemble the American Era from Coolidge to the Fifties. We must never lose sight of this goal.
