Apparently, wild hyperbole is typical from the author of the story.
I accidentally locked a wild hyperbole in my garage one night a long time ago. We think it went in to get warm while I had the door open during the day.
It made a HUGE mess, ate most of my tools and then chewed its way out through a grout-filled concrete block wall.
Those things are nothing but trouble.
