The man has been identified as a 23-year-old black man who testified during the grand jury proceedings over the killing of Michael Brown by former police officer Darren Wilson.
Another witness of the shooting of Michael Brown has been found dead in a dry channel near River Des Peres in Misssouri, local authorities confirmed.
The man has been identified as 23-year-old Shawn Gray, a black man who testified during the grand jury proceedings over the killing of Brown by former police officer Darren Wilson.
According to relatives and friends, Gray was last seen leaving a restaurant on Thanksgiving Day. The manner and cause of his death are pending autopsy results. However, his family is demanding answers and say the death could have been premeditated murder.
Another witness DeAndre Joshua, also a young black man, was found shot dead and his car was torched outside the same neighborhood where Brown was killed.
Two witnesses of the Brown shooting have now been found dead under suspicious circumstances, while local authorities have not announced any leads in either case, and the press has provided minimal coverage.
The police murders of black young men in recent months has provided a stark reminder to the world of the harsh reality faced by many black communities in the United States. Their deaths exposed the continued persecution of black people.
Mass protests against these injustices have taken place across the country. Protesters are demanding justice for black lives lost at the hands of state sanctioned violence, with over 100 days of peaceful protest ranging from #HandsUpWalkOut and solidarity days with Ferguson.

I found Gray’s Facebook page where he has followers. There are photos of him playing guitar and skateboarding, as well as a few with him smoking dope alone and with friends. So he, like DeAndre, was at a minimum, a user. I’m pretty sure DeAndre was a seller, based on the cash he flashed in photos, and the comments about pot from his peers.
I don’t think that the GJ witnesses names would be released to the public, but family and friends might know.

Looks like the author is alleging that the police murdered these two witnesses. That seems very strange ...
Since this was posted, I started looking into Shawn Gray. From what I have found, I don’t think he had anything to do with the GJ, Mike Brown, etc. He lived on the complete other side of St. Louis from Ferguson, much closer to Clayton and Forest Park. Now, that in itself doesn’t mean that he didn’t know Brown somehow, but St. Louis is a pretty big city, and I think the odds are small.
Sounds like Mr. Johnson should get a haircut and some trousers that fit and move to Eureka, NV or Why, AZ.

They aren't SUPPOSED to be identified. That doesn't mean they haven't been. I'm sure there are leakers in this case. Somebody knows and is leaking.
Dumb question did these witness testimony support Officer Wilson’s story? If they did that it raises some issues for example are they being whacked because the didn’t tow the community line and who is involved in subverting justice
Indeed, they will start to catch up with those bankers. Got a ways to go though, but as Confucius say "The longest journey begins with the first step."
