"Voters are stupid" economist Jonathan Gruber and Marilyn Tavenner face Issa and the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee today on C-SPAN 3.
FOX News reports that Tavenner has asked that she be seated anywhere but next to Gruber. Apparently, Gruber is radioactive. Time will tell whether this affliction is covered under Obamacare.
Collins almost made her cry.
Rep Lumins told Gruber “You are a politician”
I put this thought on the Rush thread and wanna add it here
Remember when Val Jarrett said Obutnuts was brilliant, above all in his brilliance ? Common folk just bored him
Then it hit me. Val wasn’t talking bout Obutnuts. noooooo
Val was talking bout Val herself
Sad story from Mrs Lummis
“Get over your damn glibness!”
Wow, Lumins husband died after being told he had no coverage and skipped a cardiac test.
WHOA!!!
Tell it!
Lummis/WY talking about her husband who died from massive MI at same time they found out they weren’t covered by Obamacare (and cardiac tests that he needed). No wonder she’s PO’d.
Lummis tells personal story of her husband’s death that could have been prevented by getting a test advised by doctor, but didn’t because he believed he was not covered by Obamacare.
OMG.
Cynthia Lummis is on Obamacare
Filed claims then told we were not on it
Husband having chest pains - he didn’t have all the tests advised to have - so my husband had a massive heart attack
Conversation with Doctor - he chose not to have a test that coincides with time we were told not covered.
I am telling you during the time he was having tests, he was told we were not covered.
There may be a decline in participation
There have been so many glitches in Obamacare that have real life consequences and the glibness has
Get over your damn glibness!!
Cynthia Lummis just put this horrorshow in perspective. God bless her.
Issa wouldn’t even let her deliver an insincere statement of condolence.
Good.
This is killing me. .am at work and missing the show! Quickly scanning posts. .looks like Gruber is getting grilled. .sauteed. .fried and thoroughly boiled. .
Thanks!
Thanks!
Make it viral.
Awesome statement and she MEANT IT with all her heart.
Ok... the next guy, the doctor... is getting to the meat...

1949-2014
Al Wiederspahn died peacefully in his sleep of a heart attack on October 24, 2014. He was 65 years old.
A ‘49 blizzard baby, Alvin L. was born January 18 in Cheyenne, Wyo. to J. Arling and Edvina Wiederspahn. He graduated from Cheyenne Central High School, from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in zoology and from the University of Denver College of Law.
He began the practice of law with longtime Cheyenne attorney George Guy, and later practiced with Art Kline, two distinguished mentors.
He was first elected to the Wyoming legislature in 1978, serving 10 years in the Wyoming House and Senate.
During his legislative service he met and married fellow Laramie County legislator, Cynthia M. Lummis. Al and Cynthia welcomed their only child, Annaliese, in 1985.
In addition to his law practice, Al never met an old building he didn’t want to fix up. That included, but was not limited to, the Grier building and the Plains Hotel in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Alvin was an avid reader whose curiosity about the world drove him to pursue myriad interests. He served on the board of advisors to the National Trust for Historic Preservation and as the first Chairman of the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority. He was a former president of the Laramie County ARC and a COMEA shelter board member.
Alvin believed in the potential of all young people, leading him to volunteer as Laramie County’s Juvenile Drug Court judge and with Youth Alternatives.
A dedicated conservationist and fly-fisherman, Al was a former Chairman of the Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust, an organization that he remained very involved in up to his death.
Alvin was a devout Christian and a longtime elder at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cheyenne.
Alvin was preceded in death by his father, J. Arling Wiederspahn, and his mother, Edvina Wiederspahn. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lummis, his daughter, Annaliese Wiederspahn, and his sister, Janet Haught, all of Cheyenne, Wyo.
(snip)
I’m waiting for the day when they pull her detail.
Poor Mr. Lummis was sleeping at the time. Worst time to have a heart attack, obviously.
