I do not believe that climate change deniers exist. I have heard the statistics and have seen the graphs, but I am not convinced. So I do what the supposed deniers do I ignore them and move on.
The next time you find yourself in a conversation with friends and colleagues about climate change, I would ask that you do one thing skip over the discussion about the deniers. By talking about the deniers, the debate focuses on how to fix the problem of denial rather than climate change itself.
Not everyone has to believe in it; what is required is that most of us do something about it.
Dealing with this issue will require money and leadership. Prevention and mitigation will mean spending money. This is unavoidable.
Lets use the mandate that we have given ourselves and agree to implement what most already believe is a good idea. Canada needs to ignore deniers, hold our leaders to account, and start allocating our considerable resources to address climate change now.

No smoking hot spot1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it.
Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.
If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. So we know for sure that carbon emissions are not a significant cause of the global warming. If we had found the greenhouse signature then I would be an alarmist again.
Hopefully, Prime Minister Harper won’t be so forthcoming with Canada’s wallet to combat climate change. Typical leftist drivel. I’m guessing Professor Tamblyn is a close associate of Algore and all the other climate change shakedown artists.
Too late! We are already ignoring you and liking it.
In fact, I don't know anyone who denies the climate is changing. It always has, and always will. Thing is, I don't know if this is a ploy to extract more taxes form us, or if it was invented by cooks and recognized as an opportunity to extract more taxes. Either way, only a damned fool thinks we can actually change the environment one way or another (well, not by doing what we are doing now).
I call these climate change fools “Static Earthers” they belive that the earth’s climate is and should always remain completely “Static”....
They will eventually be reguarded just the same as the “Flat Earthers”.
“Static Earthers”
I like that!
There are no “climate change deniers.” No one denies that the climate changes, but people disagree as to the extent that human CO2 usage drives climate change. It is LIBERALS who think that they can somehow stop or alter climate change; THEY are the deniers.
Nicely said.
There you have it. Let's ignore the people who tell us that we can't use the taxpayers as our ATM machine to fund our pet project and get rich doing so.
I suggest we ignore global warming believers. Don’t spend any money on this nonsense and hope the plants perk up as an FR poster indicates the long term trend for co2 is down. Unabated this could result in far fewer plants and far fewer us.
Of course the far left scientists wouldn’t have reduced population as a goal, would they?/s
I think I would prefer ignoring the Climate Alarmists; but, they won’t let you ignore them.
Ah, but Hitler had Detachment Steiner as his secret weapon!
When the next ice age rolls in, let's stop him at the border....
Let the glacer plow his dumb arse into the boulder field under the glacier....
“Lets use the mandate that we have given ourselves and agree to implement what...”
I say lets use the mandate that we have given ourselves and put a bullet through the head of this Marxist ass.
I love giving myself mandates to do whatever I want.
hahaha
That should work:
If you can’t convince them of the BIG LIE, ignore them.

I am still wondering about the hole in the ozone from the 1970s. And acid rain. And global cooling. IIRC, we should have most of the planet covered over by thick sheets of ice by now.
Absolutely spot on. I work at a university and if all the secretaries quit the whole place would cease to operate. Bunch of stuffed shirts.
It's time to start ignoring the climate change fanatics.
There I fixed it.
As a scientist I am really disappointed in this article. Science is all about doubting and re testing the theory.
