Ever since I heard that phrase years ago from that witch, I cannot understand for one moment how the American people are allowing this crap to go on Washington.

There must be some legal requirement that forces our reps to read these bills.

I cannot understand for one moment how the American people are allowing this crap to go on Washington.

Only a small minority of the American people are news junkies -- that be us.

Instead, they are too busy getting the kids' lunches fixed, getting the kids dressed, getting the kids off to school, getting themselves dressed for work, driving to work, working, driving back home, getting dinner -- while maybe having the TV on the local/national network news -- getting the kids to do their homework, getting the kids ready for bed ...

Most cannot even recognize or name the major politicians in their own states or in Washington.
