If these people take out a cop first, they'll probably end up like Mark Essex ( New Orleans, January 1973). If you're not familiar with that story, it's worth a bit of research.

Even though Bull Connor, Faubus, Lester Maddox etal tried to tell us this was the road we were going down, we need some Philadelphia PA type leadership shown by Rizzo and Goode when they shot a flare pistol(?) into a rigged out home and burned down half of a ward.
They ‘got their guys’ and the ONLY reason the city didn’t explode was because Goode was Black ... Also, the group they wiped out were some real bad asses, who threatened ALL, Black and White.... I don’t recall Jesse OR Al making an appearance.

The Cops (whether under orders or not) decided NOT to police the ‘peaceful demonstrators’ when they burned Police Cars and were looting stores and burning them. The situation escalated to blocking Interstates and NO ONE did anything....
Just like the dog that craps on the floor or the kid that keeps ‘hitting’ his baby sister, the longer you wait for the situation to ‘clean itself up’ the harder it is to stop.
Sorry, but we are really in need of a ‘nervous’ National Guardsman to give us another ‘Kent State’ type solution as it looks like the only thing that will begin to stop it now is all out force and if this story is ‘true’ the Police are going to need ALL that Military Gear just to get a hand on it.
It was different in the Rodney King, that was mostly done in LA and they did kind of ‘contain’ them and any outside support dried up in a day or so.
This is different. A well coordinated attack the mob being frenzied up by the very people that were put in charge to make sure nothing like this happened, looks like now the ‘Wall Street Group’ may be financing and coordinating.

I don't want to spoil their little black guerilla party, but I have some kindly advice. Yeah, they will get a few cops. But remember that the "cops" work 24/7/365. They never sleep and they just keep coming. Plus, while the thugs will escape for a little while, rewards will be offered, snitches will come forward, and the thugs will be located. And then the raid will be done when they least expect it, and are at their least alert. And this - don't expect to survive. Dig?

The NYPD has likely ID’ed them, so they might kill a cop or two before all of them get seriously nailed. Call it “killed in crossfire”, but in practical terms it is like the end of Bonnie and Clyde. Dead in a hail of bullets.
