I would start of pool to get us Freepers to guess when the race will be called for Cassidy. Problem is it is likely to be 8:01.

In November, CNN was calling some races even before any results were posted on the various media/state websites.

They probably will know by 8:01, but they may try to draw it out for an hour or so.

If their exit-polling data indicates a blow-out, the news orgs will often call a race immediately when the polls close. But they only do exit-polling for general elections, so they won't make a call tonight until they have some real results.
