Now this is just pathetic.
Some of you turned Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC)87% into the hero of the day because of his Benghazi investigation. He could do no wrong. What happens when you build a cult of personalty around any politician is then they can go BOHICA on you.
Bend over America. Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC)87% is now on record admitting hes going to help shove President Obamas amnesty plan right where you dont want it.

Hmmmm ..?? Most of the posters have only arrived here after 2008 .. Geeeeeee .. I wonder if we have a gang-up in progress here ..??
Anybody else see this ..??
Oh yeah .. I’m still sticking with Gowdy. While I am suspicious of Boehner’s motives, the Bengazi investigation is not over. Gowdy could be pulled temporarily to start the investigation over the hijack of the immigration laws.
Yep. It's harsh, but being soft is why the republicans wound up so liberal. Time to get tough and make supporting liberalism a political kiss of death for republicans.
The time for nice and for benefit of the doubt is over.

And the Republican House has voted to fully fund it for the last few years, repeatedly, Continuing Resolution after Continuing Resolution.
“What has he actually done? Besides talk a good fight?

You are so correct.
Do not start a war unless you want to win it and win it quickly.
Have a clear exit policy before starting a war.
And finally, never start a war on foreign lands with borrowed money from countries like China.
Our children and grand children are going to despise us for leaving them a national debt much bigger than our GDP. They have no economic future with the ever increasing interest on national debt.
“That’s why he was just re-elected overwhelmingly and why he has a vocal hate-group railing against him on FR. “
We’re witnessing an invasion of the bestial FR Philistine “I Walk on Water” cult.
sergeantdave,
If only other posters were as well informed as you.
Thanks for your informative and substantive post.
I wonder how he’d vote if conservative comprehensive immigration reform ever gets a hearing? How would he vote on a bill that ends mass immigration and reduces legal immigration? Would he support ending chain migration and abolishing the absurd Divery Lottery visas? Would he support reducing refugee and asylum visas?
I know that Gowdy passed a bill out of the judiciary committee that would give states the power to enforce federal immigration law.
Do you have objections to that?
The RINO slimeball Erick Erickson attacking conservative Trey Gowdy.
Would love to meet that dirtball Erickson in a dark alley with no witnesses around and correct his 50 IQ stupidity.
I do.
What part of this story about Gowdy is inaccurate?
No, you do not understand the process in the House.
Each bill usually requires some “rules” to get finagled through. They come from the rules committee.
Resettozero is a total troll.
He bounces around looking for trouble he can jump into.
I didn’t fully realize it until this evening, after seeing many of his posts on different threads.
When people constantly use lefty terms, they usually are lefties.
Loved listening to Petraeus when being questioned, too. Then I found out about his rules of engagement. Ask first, shoot later, if you’re not dead.
No I dont.
I don’t have an opinion on Gowdy yet. I find the varying views of him here interesting, so I may read up on him some more.
I pose the same questions about every Republican or conservative who gains prominence. I do so because I think immigration is the most important issue, mostly because of its demography-shaping power. I think demographics is destiny. So in the end, I think any conservative who doesn’t oppose mass immigration (even the legal kind) is whistling past the graveyard.
So it’s good to know that Gowdy wants to empower states against illegal immigration. But I’d be more interested in knowing If he would support reducing (pro-democrat) mass legal immigration.
