Does anyone really believe that the USS Cole bombers did not have exact intelligence as to where to take their explosives to and detonate? The very place hit that would put it Dead In The Water. We need to be extra careful where we build shipyards {such as UAE cough cough} and who we allow inside them in any capacity civilian or otherwise. The yards is the most vulnerable place for a ship. In port is second most vulnerable. At sea is the safest and most secure place for a ship and the most ready.

Well, maybe... but really they should have been machine gunned long before getting close enough. Cole did not have anywhere near deck guards or manned boarder repelling crew— which should be on any of our ships in a foreign port.

ie. they rubber boat should have been blasted by 20mm outside the perimeter of buoys.
