YOUR HIT PARADE, 1941

#1 – The Andrews Sisters: “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”

The song was written by Don Raye and Hughie Prince, and was recorded at Decca's Hollywood studios on January 2, 1941 after the start of the peacetime draft.

The video is from the Abbott & Costello movie “Buck Privates”, and the song’s inclusion in the film garnered an Oscar nomination.
