There is a big difference between “journalism” and “reporting” Reporting is just the facts. Journaling is a lot of opinion and interpretation. Reporters used to get on the job training at a newspaper. Investigating, interviewing, asking questions and writing. Schools of journalism pretty much have the aim of turning out leftist propagandists.
Much like the difference between teachers and educators. Schools of education pretty much brought the end of teaching and brought in indoctrination

Regardless if this is the original meaning or not, when I think of a TRUE JOURNALIST, I am thinking of someone with integrity that is able to put their biases aside and stick to who, what, when, where, why and how.

Off the top of my head I cant think of anybody, am sure I can think of some but my head is a bit foggy today, you can be sure there are none at CNN, NBC,CBS,ABC or Wash Post.La Times ,NY TIMES etc

Fox is not brimming over with them either, not considering my talk radio faves, though they all trump the folks I mentioned even though they are opinion guys.

Maybe John Scott....several years ago I might have said Brit Hume, but he is a bit Naive now,

Michael Barone, Jim Pinkerton
