Former President Bush has spoken at length about his close ties to former President Bill Clinton, at times calling him his "brother from another mother."
CNN's Candy Crowley asked Bush during an interview published Friday where that leaves Hillary Clinton: "My sister-in-law!" the president responded light-heartedly.

a mind is a terrible thing to waste...
Im with Jacksojn....keep out the Bushes
I just laugh when GWB says things like this. Never forget his wicked sense of humor - having said that - it seems he has more liberal views than we ever knew. Oh well - sigh - we now have to deal with the current squatter in the WH - one who makes me wish for the good ole days of the Clinton dynasty./s
i had a mother in law very much like that...forty years ago...
Naive not naiive. :-/
Sad. Evil is not a good choice.
Sickening
I hate these patricians
NOT!
.....patricians, I feel the same.
Bush loves Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is a rapist. What does that make Bush? For me it makes him another republican I regret having voted for.
How long before the Bush bots come out swinging and defending at the same time?
I just hate that I invested so much of my time in believing in him and defending what I thought about him. All the while it turns out he’s oblivious to the ills of this country. It seems to me that the only one who got things right was Dick Cheney whose palpable disgust and disdain for Obama was painfully evident on Inauguration Day 2009.
Just damn.... No Bush - ever, ever again. Fie on them.
Either way, I’ve never seen any indication that there was any love lost between the Bushes and Hillary. The friendship with Bill I get; the Bushes are clubby Bill is a former Predident, while Bill’s always aspired, pretty pathologically (due to his messed up upbrining) to be part of the country club in-crowd.
This is actually exactly the sort of comment that would make Bill laugh, but Hillary boil over. And I could definitely see Bush delivering it for precisely that effect.
I just think GWB doesn’t want to say anything bad about anyone - regardless of what he may privately think. I’ll give him that - he has class and doesn’t say anything to flame the MSM who are waiting with baited breath for a “gotcha’ moment. GWB isn’t ignorant of this fact and I think he is just enjoying his retirement.
I’m done trying too eek out some semblance of brilliance or sophistication from him. He is not, nor ever was a conservative. Nor did he do anything beyond protect his country from real terrorism. He never answered his critics on what else he was trying to do, never stood for a policy other than “terrah”, never did squat except keep silent in the face of OUR enemies. His blind ignoral of all things domestic got us Obama....Thanks, W!
Did he look into her eyes and see her soul?
You had too many words in that sentence.
Pretty disgusting.
I don’t know how they backtrack from all of this crap to attack the Beast if Jebby’s moneymen buy him the nomination.
This is nauseating on so MANY levels.
BARF!!
This country is choking under the despotic oppression of a tyrant and this man “doesn’t want to say something bad about anyone?” Can’t even bring himself to condemn a rapist and an unqualified harpy with absolutely no qualifications?
Screw him. I’m done with Bush’s... I’m done with him.
Just saw it. I believe he was making a joke he knew was a little outrageous. I would not expect a great deal of cordiality between the two. Just my $0.02.
