Former President Bush has spoken at length about his close ties to former President Bill Clinton, at times calling him his "brother from another mother."
CNN's Candy Crowley asked Bush during an interview published Friday where that leaves Hillary Clinton: "My sister-in-law!" the president responded light-heartedly.

I would like to comment, but I can’t think of anything nasty enough. I’m pretty sure George and Jeb were both castrated at birth.
George was President because a large minority of voters in an appropriate distribution pattern preferred him to Al Gore, and a somewhat larger number preferred him to JFKerry. But think about it for a moment - GWB lost the popular vote to AL GORE! If his opponents had sucked slightly less, George would never have won at all...

The Clintons treated GW. Bush well. Bush was the Clinton's presidential place holder until Hillary was ready to run in 2008.

I can see George calling Hillary his sister-in-law, in light of the fact that his brother Neil repeatedly cheated on his first wife Sharon, then had an affair with a Mexican-born volunteer at his mother Barbara’s Houston-based literacy foundation office. He later married the volunteer who was also married at the time of the affair. There’s kind of a correlation between Bill Clinton/Neil Bush, and their affairs with interns/volunteers.
