If you’re a thug making a furtive movement or refusing to obey instructions, you look to get shot.
Contrary to what people think, a traffic stop is dangerous. You never know what the guy behind the wheel is thinking.
In all 50 states, cops are legally authorized to use force to detain you. Whether they have to use it is up to you - you can make it less stressful or you can have a bad day.
But some people have no respect for authority these days.
“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves” (Rom. 13:1-2).
