Putin: Crimea is Russia's Temple Mount
ynetnews.com ^ | December 4, 2014

Posted on 12/04/2014 12:48:24 PM PST by Tailgunner Joe

The Crimean Peninsula "is of huge importance for the Russian nation, just as the Temple Mountain is for people of Jewish faith," Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday in an attempt to defend Russia' annexation of the formerly Ukrainian region. ....

"The west wanted to run Yugoslavian scenario in Russia. Just as Hitler failed to destroy Russia with his misanthropic ideas, everybody should just remember how these things end. Our army crushed the Nazis and liberated Europe," Putin said

Continuing with his World War Two analogy, Putin said that there was also a need to cooperate to prevent such large scale wars, which he said was being threatened by US exceptionalism.

"We also can't forget the terrible events of 1941/2. This brings us to issues of international security. The US continues to build global missile defense system, effecting everyone's security. This gives them this sense of impunity, and raises risks. We are not going to get ourselves dragged into an expensive arms race, but will address our security … We have unorthodox ways for that. Nobody will gain a military edge over Russia."

Really?

So, uhm...Vladee.

Tell me about the religious and historical significance of Siberia, cuz seems to me, Russia will have to cede it back to China in another generation or two and they will be taking by force if necessary.

"Unorthodox ways"-- for example, Islamic Terrorists secretly controlled by the KGB/FSB. Criminal gangs. Subversion. Extremist Parties secretly under control by the FSB. Assassination. Bribes. A knife in the back, some radiation in your tea.

KGB Putin’s goal to restore the former Soviet Union. In 2005 he stated its “collapse” the “greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th Century”. More recently he said Stalin deserves to have statues in his honor.

Crimea never belonged to Russia until the reign of Catherine the Great.

Russia is to blame for both world wars. Russia's mobilization against Germany and Austria-Hungary transformed a local conflict between Austria and Serbia into a world war. Russia's pact with Hitler in August 1939 gave Hitler a free hand to conquer Poland, France, and several other countries. Russia continued to be Hitler's ally until Hitler invaded the USSR.

Blowing up Russia: The Secret Plot to Bring Back KGB Terror
by Alexander Litvinenko, Yuri Felshtinsky, Geoffrey Andrews and Co (Translator)

Synopsis: Blowing Up Russia contains the allegations of ex-spy Alexander Litvinenko against his former spymasters in Moscow which led to his being murdered in London in November 2006. In the book he and historian Yuri Felshtinsky detail how since 1999 the Russian secret service has been hatching a plot to return to the terror that was the hallmark of the KGB. Vividly written and based on Litvinenko’s 20 years ofinsider knowledge of Russian spy campaigns, Blowing Up Russia describes how the successor of the KGB fabricated terrorist attacks and launched a war. Writing about Litvinenko, the surviving co-author recounts how the banning of the book in Russia led to three earlier deaths.

Alexander Litvinenko, the former Russian security agent fighting for his life in a UK hospital after allegedly beingpoisoned, has been a fierce critic of Vladimir Putin since before he became president in 2000.

Mr Litvinenko is thought to have been close to journalist Anna Politkovskaya, another opponent of the Kremlin who was shot dead last month, and said recently he was investigating her murder. It was after being handed documents apparently relating to the case that he was taken ill more than two weeks ago.

But he is perhaps best known for a book in which he alleges that agents co-ordinated the 1999 apartment block bombings in Russia that killed more than 300people. He now appears to have fallen victim to the kind of plots which he wrote about.

__________________________

On 1 November 2006, Litvinenko suddenly fell ill and was hospitalised in what was established as a case of poisoning by radioactive polonium-210 which resulted in his death on 23 November. The events leading up to this are a matter of controversy, spawning numerous theories relating to his poisoning and death. A Britishmurder investigation pointed to Andrey Lugovoy, a member of Russia’s Federal Protective Service, as the prime suspect. The United Kingdom requested the extradition of Lugovoy, but Russia refused, leading to the cooling of relations between Russia and the United Kingdom.”

I just want the Sudetenland, that's all.

And oh yeah, the Polish corridor.

And Austria.

And half of France.

"Russia is to blame for both world wars"

That's a leap right there.

What did Russia have to do with France and Britain declaring war against Germany and Austria?

To support Russia, against whom they both warred?

Documents Show How Russia’s Troll Army Hit America;

The Kremlin’s Troll Army. Moscow is financing legions of pro-Russia Internet commenters:

A June article by Max Seddon of BuzzFeed reported the Kremlin was spending millions of dollars to pay English-speaking Russians to promote President Vladimir Putin and his policies in U.S. media like Fox News broadcasting and The Huffington Post and Politico news sites. Trolls are reportedly expected to manage multiple fake accounts and post on news articles 50 times a day, often with sentiments as simplistic as “Putin makes Obama look stupid and weak!”

Wel, you don't have to be a Russian troll to have that observation.

True, but it’s just used as a tactic for winning people from the anti-obama side over to support that KGB thug and his policies.

At the beginning of the Great War, France and Britain were allied with Russia. - Triple Entente

That is why the Schlieffen Plan called for Germany attacking and defeating France quickly before turning around to fight Russia.

It's more like the relationship between England and the United States, except if the United States was dominated by Mongols and had a long tradition of oriental despotism (Kiev had one of the earliest constitutions). When Moscow was still wilderness, Kiev already had its own civilization. The King who was baptized in Crimea was a Kievan King, not a Muscovite.

The only claim that Russia has over Crimea is a long history of conquest, occupation, colonization, rape and murder of whoever happened to be living there.

In 1571 Crimean khan Girey raided Moscow, burned it, filled Moscow river with bodies of citizens. He seized 100 000 Russian people in neighborhood to sell them to Osmans. Slave trade was main source of profit for Crimean khans.

Today it is the same, only it is the Moskals who are the slavers and the murderers. It is an ancient Russian tradition I suppose, inherited from their Mongol ancestors:
