Sure. Anything from 20 or more years ago is fine. But anything purchased, say, 10 years ago or less is hunk.

My first washer/dryer pair was the Kenmore brand. Lasted 28 years.

Yep. I will now give Sears management some valuable advice for free. Sears, re-brand yourselves as the QUALITY store. Let everyone else race to the bottom with low-priced junk.

I would gladly pay more for a quality microwave or a quality dryer that was well-built, and meant to last. And I think there are many others who feel that way.

My parents bought a Sears Cold Spot deep freeze around 1963. It ran constantly and problem-free until last year, when my father shut it down because he no longer had a use for it.
