Cosby’s behavior must have been an open secret in the entertainment community for a long time. Too bad nobody set up a sting operation years ago to get evidence against him on video.
Absolutely. All you have to do is look up Hollywood scandals going way back up to the present to know just how rotten that business is. I believe someone has come out with a book about how many kids in show business were molested. Everyone looked the other way, including the parents in some cases.
i have heard it is allegedly common knowledge that cosby was a frequent visitor to the playboy mansion, filled with would be starlets hoping to get a jump start on their acting careers. there are books on what it was like to work at the playboy mansion and it allegedly amounted to quasi-prostitution at times. cosby being a producer as well as a star, it is probably not difficult to fill in the blanks for what went on during at least some of cosby’s visits to the mansion. i would suspect he had some willing partners, but also that these willing partners are talking and have been talking in private for decades. since only a small percentage of starlets actually break into the successful acting, that leaves a lot of bitter former starlets around, loaded for bear (so to speak). ...whether philandering behavior in general is relevant in court in this case, or arbitrary visits to playboy mansion are relevant, not sure. Until Cosby qave his “Pound Cake” speech, the only accusation was a qirl who basically said he tried first base and when she told him to stop he did.
If it was an open secret nobody much cared about it until AFTER Cosby said that Blacks can’t blame whites for killinq somebody over a piece of pound cake.
