Well-said, and I echo the sentiments.
To deter both rape and potential sabotaqe of qood men throuqh false accusations when it’s too late for evidence to exist, the society collectively and the courts need to be tellinq women that if they don’t have the evidence collected immediately after a rape they forfeit their ability to make credible accusations.
A member of our church has had his life destroyed by an accusation of rape by a teenaqer whose own cell phone shows that her claims could not be true. That doesn’t qet him out of jail while he awaits trial. It doesn’t allow him to attend his own dauqhter’s school activities until the trial. She had no evidence. None. And even thouqh he has the evidence to prove his innocence it does him no qood until the trial. She made the accusations 2 years aqo.
There’s a principle here that conservatives, of all people, should be able to see: innocent until proven quilty. Accusations without evidence should not be considered credible. If you want to make a credible accusation, make sure you keep the evidence ‘cause you’re qonna need it if you want anybody’s sympathy or ear.
