Shurat Hadin said it provided the IRS with “documentary and video evidence showing PCUSA delegates meeting with the US-designated terrorist group Hezbollah, publishing anti-Semitic materials, enacting a racist policy to divest from American companies doing business with Israel, lobbying the US Congress, and distributing political advocacy materials in violation of its tax-exempt status as a religious organization.”

The PCUSA declined to provide an immediate comment on the accusations. …

Poor choice of words for the headlines. PCUSA in not the American Presbyterian Church. It is a single denomination that calls itself Presbyterian but adheres to none ot the tenets of classic Presbyterianism.

The Jerusalem Post may not be Haaretz, but it isn’t Arutz Sheva either, so titles like that (“US Presbyterian Church”) would slip through.

Found out that the United Presbyterian sect that I grew up with merged with others to form PCUSA.

Glad I left!

Bingo. They are not historically Presbyterian. Similarly, there are any number of Baptist groups who have little resemblance to historic Baptists.

Pcusa has been anti-Jew for many years. It came to light when a couple apparent islsmonazi agents managed to get themselves into “church” governance offices and push anti- Jew “statements” through Unfortunately, all the efforts of those good Christian faithful inside the denomination have proved insufficient to clean house. And a number of them have left PCUSA so their strength within the rump sect is lessened.

It came to light when a couple apparent islsmonazi agents managed to get themselves into “church” governance offices and push anti- Jew “statements” through Unfortunately, all the efforts of those good Christian faithful inside the denomination have proved insufficient to clean house on this or several other important articles of Christian faith. And a number of them have left PCUSA so their strength within the rump sect is lessened. Therefore, expect PCUSA to keep sounding like an Hamas relay station for at least the foreseeable future. Alas.

If they're providing material support to a designated terror group there are more serious issues than losing their tax expetion. Though probably not with the current Justice department

According to Shurat Hadin, PCUSA violated its own mission statement by engaging in political advocacy and “taking positions on the geo-political dispute between Palestinian Arabs and Israelis.”

It noted that, “There is no mention in PCUSA organizing documents that it perceives fulfilling Christ’s work by meeting with and endorsing statements of a US-designated terrorist organization found to be responsible for the death of United States civilians and marines.”

Yes. But they didn’t listen And now they’re a witness to Satan and, fortunately, falling apart as more and more good Christians leave PCUSA - mostly joining other Presbyterian/ Calvinist churches but some hooking up with other Protestant denominations. To give the departees their due, many did try to clean the Hamas and other anti- Christian elements out of PCUSA first - and for awhile it looked like they were making progress but it just proved too difficult

It’s an astroturf sect, but other mainline denominations participate in BDS, making them terrorism supporters.
