A New York City grand jury has declined to indict an NYPD officer in the chokehold case of Eric Garner, the unarmed man who died while being arrested on Staten Island earlier this year.
In opting not to indict, the panel determined there was not probable cause that a crime was committed by NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo, who was seen on a widely watched amateur video showing him wrapping his arm around Garner's neck as Garner yelled, "I can't breathe!" during the summer altercation.

Yea, but you're still not allowed to shoot, taser, baton, hit or grab a suspect... even if he's trying to kill you. The only acceptable response is to try and calm the suspect down by handing him a cute, cuddly kitten.
Very few big brothers have the nerve to push it that far.

There won't be any call for justice from his office. There won't be any phone call from Holder or Obama and there won't be any invitations from the White House to the family of this poor guy........
Watch the video. This guy wasn't trying to kill anyone. To the extent he was resisting arrest, it was passive resistance at most. He wasn't attacking the officers, or otherwise putting them at risk.
Someone could make the argument that the rioters and protesters share a lot of the blame for this guys death. Why? They vote Democrat, and its the Democrats who have raised the “war on tobacco” to an insane level, especially in New York.

Something to think about any time legislation is proposed to prohibit some activity. Ask yourself "Am I willing to KILL the people who do it, if they disobey the ban?"

What if this guy were selling lemonade that had a high sugar content, or in containers bigger than 16 ounces, or heaven forbid, just built a lemonade stand and sold it on the street? Could the same thing happen in this scenario?
Again, it can be argued that blame, or at least partial blame should go to the very ones who vote for a party that puts these policies in place.

Again, that depends on how you define “chokehold.” According to the NYPD Patrol Guide definition (”A chokehold shall include, but is not limited to, any pressure to the throat or windpipe which may prevent or hinder breathing to reduce intakes of air”), he most certainly did use a chokehold.
