Does Washington’s I-594 measure cover nail guns?

Fear over just what comes along with the 18 pages of background check legislation approved by Washington state voters last month has led some to wonder if devices such as nail guns and avalanche cannons would see increased regulation.

The definition of just what is a firearm as defined in the ballot initiative that takes Dec. 4 is still subject to interpretation. According to the language of the referendum, virtually every transfer of any device “from which a projectile or projectiles may be fired by an explosive such as gunpowder” must in the future be accompanied by a background check beforehand.

This legislation clears the ghetto thug stealing the gun and blames the victim.

Well, they will have to register everyone after all, not gun owners. Now gays and psdophiles will be exempt from registration of course.

I used mine for setting 2x4 toe plates for a big TV shelf in the living room. I'm always a little concerned when setting nails in concrete. A very hard rock can spoil the results.

Yeah, I always use either plastic or lead anchors with screws, or epoxy in a threaded stud.

Concrete wall? Below-ground basement? If so, I can see why spoiled results can be of concern. For me, 2x4s on concrete for a toolshed. Went smoothly, although there’s a crack running through the middle of the concrete I had poured. Probably ground settling and nothing to do with the toolshed. I used a air-driven palm nailer to assemble the toolshed, went up fast. Probably all tools will be banned if liberals have their way.
