When I was 20, I had a 1979 F100 with a 302. It had 140 hp and could pull a boat out of the water on a trailer. We all forget that it wasn’t long ago that the average V8 produced less than 200 hp. My 92 Mustang GT only had 225. Today we think that 200 hp engines should only be on golf carts. (Disclaimer: my 2014 GT has 420 hp and I’m very happy with it, so I’m not some hybrid driving homo.)
