Senate Republicans had no appetite for discussing how to thwart President Obama’s executive orders on immigration during the conference’s weekly lunch, according to a source familiar with the meeting.
Senator Mike Lee (R., Utah) and Senator David Vitter (R., La.) tried to broach the topic, but were ignored.
“At different times, Lee and Vitter stood up and tried to begin a discussion about what the plan was and asked leadership about what their strategy was to deal with the spending bill and respond to Obama executive amnesty, and the reply was always an effort to try to change the subject to the ozone rule from the EPA or some other issue, and it was just bizarre,” the source said.

If we’d stop electing people with so much dirt on them we wouldn’t have people who can be blackmailed by the Lois Lerners. And we’d have SC Justices who weren’t appointed and confirmed by people who can be blackmailed.

The IQ level on this forum has dropped precipitously over the past few years judging by how gullible and eager to accept the gloom and doom crap tossed about by the media. They do this knowing the media deliberately indulges in misinformation and looks to promote discord in the Republican ranks.
Since your own IQ is so towering that you can presume to lecture to the rest of us, you undoubtedly know that these Senate Republican lunches, which have a reputation for vigorous give and take, are not open to the public or members of the press, but confined to GOP members of the Senate and very limited staff - hence the discretely leaked nature of this story.

The question is as my point was, it makes NO SENSE to telegraph either tactical or strategic plans. Your claim the meetings are “closed door” is a joke given today’s technology and ease with which so many would sell their souls for no more than 2 pieces of coal much less 8 pieces of silver.
