I was also taught that the following phrase, lacks a preposition:
“He just graduated high school last year”.
It’s very common nowadays though.
after graduation, he went to hospital
It cost money (I think its $52) to take the test. Although there may be waivers involved, you have to be smart enough to fill out the paper work (assumes one can read).
Much like other cities, the public demands that the people that run the show (see also police departments) be racially in line with them. How has that worked out for Camden, Newark, Detroit, and other hell holes across the country?
I missed the number of how many kids took the test. 19 out of how many?
Really????
Too bad collages and universities do.
Want a chance for you kid in this district or most inner cities???? Home school!
This article is so screwed up I had to check the author to see if it was an AA hire. Nope, just stupid, and from the photo...it’s evident that most likely the carpet matches the drapes!

I also noticed the word “lucky.” Doing well on the SAT is not about “luck.”
Good point.
But liberals will say it is "underfunded."

That's right, and it has been one since 1985!
Surely, we can't expect results since only about 30 years have passed.
And that is with higher spending per pupil than the rest of NJ school districts by about 20%, in a state with ridiculously high per pupil spending on education.
For those not from NJ and don't know what an Abbott District is:

Brits wouldn't have a problem with that. It' a linguistic difference that I've always found to be odd. They wouldn't say "He went to police station", or "He went to fire station". Perhaps they consider it more similar to the phrase "he went to school".
There are five things in common with all of the hell holes:
1.) They are run by Democrats,
2.) Have illiterates running the schools,
3.) Have high crime,
4.) Have large debts and,
5.) Are at or near bankruptcy.
The worst part of this is that taxpayers outside of the hell holes foot a majority of the bill either through state or federal taxes. Personally, I don't want to give them one red cent for their schools, housing, food stamps, Obama phones, day care, or any other program they are dependent upon. Hopefully one day we can force them to go cold turkey and they will learn how to be self reliant.
By an amazing coincidence, there were a total of 19 white students who took the test.
I went to the Eastside High School’s (in Paterson)web site. Their Vision is to be the statewide leader in urban education. Sadly, they just might be.
This is America’s future.
