Sometimes he says things that I think are outrageous, but this is one guy who fits that old wisdom about free speech perfectly: "I may not like what you have to say, but I'll always defend your right to say it."

Kudos for Barkley for having the courage to speak his mind even when it is politically incorrect to do so.

Do a Google search on "Charles Barkley quotes" to see why he's long been one of the most entertaining people in sports media for years. LOL.

Just a couple of my favorites:

Interesting perspective from the guy who once said he'd run for governor of Alabama, and that one of his campaign promises would be to schedule a "death week" every year where five of the worst criminals in the state would be executed. LOL.

I wonder if those that disagree with him will criticize the fact that he is married to a white woman? I am glad he spoke out on this issue!!
