Did they let the interns and congressional pages write this law?

They should never have supported it in the first place

Premiums have increased, but the dirty little secret of Obamacare is the new “observation” provisions. It used to be if you were admitted as an inpatient to a hospital, Medicare and your insurance company would pay the inpatient rate, and your out of pocket expense would not increase. Now, under Obamacare, you are considered inpatient only if you have been in the hospital for 2 nights. If you are in the hospital less than 2 nights you are considered as an outpatient. Your out of pocket costs has increased greatly.
The other point that I would like to make is that the government did a study a few years back, and found out that in the long run, smokers cost the system much less, because smokers die young. A non smoker may live into their 90s, and run up other medical costs that a smoker who dies young never incurs.
The best thing to do regarding these wellness programs is to basically lie. You cannot lie about your weight, but you can lie about your smoking, drinking and exercise habits. I got a questionnaire in my wellness packet asking me psychological questions-such as, have you ever felt depressed?. Sure, we all feel a little down once in awhile, but if your write that down as a response, you will carry that profile with you forever. Just lie.

“A bipartisan provision in the 2010 healthcare reform law allows employers to reward workers who participate and penalize those who don’t....”
Bipartisan? I don’t think so. However much we may want to denigrate Republicans in Congress for a variety of reasons, not one single Republican, in the House or Senate voted for Obamacare.

If you like your wellness program you can keep your wellness program.

The Obama administration largely consists of mulch-generational East Coast “intelligentsia” from Ivy League schools. The constant inbreeding over the decades has resulted in many of the same problems as you might see in Appalachia, except, for now, with more money and connections.

With the publicity then they will probably get their way and then go back to full support mode.

Hey CEOs: Wake up. You are in the crosshairs of Obamugabe too.
Think you will be exempt from tyranny? Learn some history. After the totalitarians crush the freedom of the common man, they turn on the elites.
You’d be better off thinking about the Constitution and not cronyism.

Yeah, just wait until all the 20 something, part-time employees get their first tax penalty, or attempt to avoid it by lying and saying they have health care.

50 posts in and Im the first to want to know which companies comprise the group of 200?
Maybe these companies can use our help deciding how to make better choices.
