Ap doing its best to save the narrative.
. . . who happened to be enraged and have poor impulse control - sort of like the guy who bombed the Miriah (sp) building in OKC, then sped off at 90 mph or so. Just because. And it was that which got him caught. And in Browns case - exactly because he was strong - it got him shot dead. But of course none of that matters if you are a racist - as is SOP, apparently, among the denizens of Ferguson.
Brown could have easily been shot by the clerk in the store that he robbed minutes before. Someone else posted that Brown was involved in some homicide a year or so earlier, but because he was a minor had his involvement scrubbed. I haven’t seen any corroborating evidence for that, but given the known facts of his recent demise, it sounds probable. He was destined to die an early death.
Then Brown ran away a distance, and when told to turn around did so with his hands in the air pleading "don't shoot" while the evil, racist Wilson filled him with lead.
You can be da.. sure libs will never stop believing that narrative. That narrative reveals the gullibility of libs. Who thinks a much smaller cop would try to pull a suspect, especially a suspect the size of Brown, into their vehicle? How dumb (or biased) do you have to be to believe that scenario?
Tasers don't always work. I recently read of an incident where some cops tazed a large suspect with little effect. They had to end up shooting the suspect. I read of another incident where a cop tazed a suspect, and the suspect still managed to get to the cop, subdue him, and get his gun and kill him. Someone like Brown who was probably acting under huge amounts of adrenaline might not have even noticed the taze. If he had reached Wilson, there's a good chance Wilson would not have been able to draw his gun.
In that case, the much larger Brown could have knocked (according to a number of witnesses) the already wobbly Wilson down and killed him by beating him to death or taking his gun and shooting him. Who among the sane doubts that's exactly what Brown would have done if he had managed to reach Wilson?
Brown's justifiable shooting promotes the narrative. He is just another name for libs/leftists to use. Like Sacco and Vanzetti...or Joe Hill...or Trayvon. The Movement needs martyrs to the cause.
You got that right.
Not only is it galling, I've yet to read any statement by the mainstream media debunking the myth. They're more than eager to abet the lie. When's the last time a mainstream reporter mentioned The Talk and then revealed that in fact while cops (black and white cops) shoot and kill about one hundred black perps annually, black males shoot and kill about six to seven thousand other black males annually? The truth is inconvenient to the narrative.
Sure, they need martyrs...but this is not a good one. East of me in Brooklyn a young black guy was shot by a rookie cop for no reason; I wouldn’t be surprised if the cop goes to prison. The guy may have been imperfect, but as I understand it he was literally killed for nothing at all. The way the commissioner and mayor reached out to the family immediately indicates to me this was nothing but a murder.
Use that guy for your cause, not a “clean shoot”.
He was shot because he was under the influence of drugs and was not behaving rationally..
Finally, it is being said in social media around the country, if not in the news media, through the comparison to the white boy on drugs, who was shot by a Black officer two years ago. The grand jury in that case, also declined to prosecute.
It gives new meaning to the saying, drugs kill. Even marijuana.
Many people could care less what the truth is.
My answer to them is: Pants up; don’t loot. (My new motto shamelessly stolen from someone here I think.)
Dorian Johnson testified that Big Mike’s pants weren’t down low around the butt (the fashion). Clearly his shorts are down here and were at his feet when he was shot.
Dorian left around 7 am to get breakfast for his “girl”. My guess is during those 4 1/2 hours before the robbery, Dorian and Big Mike were smoking. Dorian never got food for is “girl”.
Dorian’s 150+ pages of Grand Jury testimony are fascinating. It’s clear someone coached Dorian.
Ultimately this is a lot of opine and little reference.
