Once again, the streets are electric with anger after a white police officer evades charges for fatally shooting a black man. Sirens screech and wood batons push back marchers protesting from Missouri to New York to Los Angeles. This time the cadence of "No Justice, No Peace" has been replaced with "Hand's Up. Don't Shoot."
But there was another sign raised above the crowd in a recent protest in New York: "Doing Nothing with Saying Nothing. Changes Nothing." The mathematics of this one are clear. Something's gotta give.
A loose network led by African Americans in the film and arts world has emerged from the fog of tear gas to call for a quiet riot in response: a boycott of Black Friday shopping.
Ryan Coogler, who directed the 2013 film about police brutality called "Fruitvale Station," told us he was confounded by the eruptions of "human rights violations committed by public servants."
"There are three ways you can express yourself," Coogler said. "You can vote. You can protest. You can choose how you spend your money that goes to America's corporations that hold a lot of power."(continued)

Really, really stuck on stupid.
In the mean time, in a city near me, W-M is hiring uniformed cops as greeters, starting tonight to act as “Greeters” to check receipts at the door to keep big screen t.v.s from walking out the door.
These cops are making $50 per hour. W-M figures it’s cheaper than the dozen or so big screens they lose every year.
Blacks are boycotting Black Friday? I guess they are waiting for the next 100% off looting sale...

Good, they will have more taxpayer money to spend on dope.
In Indy they are just walking into Walmart, stealing TV’s at gunpoint. That isn’t called shopping.
They fail to realize they are about 12% of the total population and the impact of their boycott may be fewer five finger discounts at wally world.
What would America miss if Blacks left the country? Outside of sports, not much. And we would save trillions in welfare subsidies, remedial education programs, the criminal justice system, and prisons, while enjoying a much lower crime rate and a more citizen culture.
Why should we keep paying for the sins of African warlords, English slavers, and Southern plantation owners of 200 years ago? We have paid too much for too little value.
Only a fool would say that.
Easy for them to do. They’ve already done most of their “shopping”.

Walmart means business this year. Went in for diapers for a grand baby today, and our local Super Walmart was cordoned off with crime scene tape making lanes that all shoppers must stay in, every register guarded by uniformed security. No wonder the looters want to boycott.
