In the mean time, in a city near me, W-M is hiring uniformed cops as greeters, starting tonight to act as “Greeters” to check receipts at the door to keep big screen t.v.s from walking out the door.
These cops are making $50 per hour. W-M figures it’s cheaper than the dozen or so big screens they lose every year.
Walmart means business this year. Went in for diapers for a grand baby today, and our local Super Walmart was cordoned off with crime scene tape making lanes that all shoppers must stay in, every register guarded by uniformed security. No wonder the looters want to boycott.
