In a satisfying moment of intramural recrimination this week, Sen. Charles Schumer of New York pointedly second-guessed President Obama’s decision to push sweeping health care legislation in 2010, when Americans were more concerned with the state of the economy and their economic futures.

Even if you don’t think (as I do) that the “gang” bill would actually hurt the economic fortunes of many middle class Americans by importing competing, cheaper workers to bid down their salaries, it was hardly the sort of economic fix Schumer says the middle class was demanding. Even more than Obamacare, it failed to give ordinary mid-income voters the impression that Democrats were “paying enough attention to me.” Quite the contrary. They were paying attention to Rep. Gutierrez, the Chamber of Commerce, and David Brooks.
Schumer’s immigration push conspicuously flunks the first two of the five tests he gives for a successful Democratic policy–it doesn’t “directly benefit” middle class incomes and any effect is not”simple and easily explained.” (It also doesn’t satisfy the middle prong of a separate three-prong test Schumer announces: it doesn’t show that Democrats will “take on … special interests.”)

Hypocracy and the avoidance of it only concerns Conservatives.
Liberals are whores for power and couldn’t care less when it concerns them.
You will never hear the government defend or explain immigration policy in terms of its benefit to citizens.
You will never hear them explain how they arrive at their quotas for immigration. You won’t hear them ask the citizens what they want or believe our policy should be.

I see this as the democrats are trying to get their base back on the reservation before the next election. Making themselves look as though, they are showing sympathy in doing something that the majority doesn’t like now. Kind of like a convoluted apology but to those who don’t trust these liberals know what they are doing; playing politics. They know some of their eagerly moonbats will fall for this. They already insulted the population by amnesty(to gain the illegals support), the blacks are being maligned through Sharpton to get the blacks back interested in voting in 2015. This is organized from all levels. The majority of their base is some of the worse of the worse of outrageous, judgmental and unpatriotic citizens so, those voters probably gave the party hacks a how to plan of what he is doing.

Next he’ll be saying “the Chuck Schumer who voted for ObamaCare in 2010 is not the Chuck Schumer I know.”

The question is, How can the Democratic party emerge from its ObamaCare disaster alive?
Chuck Schumer knows, and this month’s elections proved, that ObamaCare-supporting Democrats are doomed to lose elections to the point of endangering the Democratic party.
However, if Chuck Schumer can lead a Democratic faction to join with the new Republican Congressional majorities to repeal ObamaCare and overcome Obama’s certain veto, the Democrats will still be doomed, since the Democrats’ large liberal pro-ObamaCare faction will rebel, and the Democrats will be split in two.
If ObamaCare is repealed, the 2016 Democratic presidential candidates will be forced to run on a pledge of restoring a national health-insurance program, or be defeated in the primaries. But if the winning candidate does so, she will be defeated in the general election and likely bring the whole Democratic party down with her.
But how nice it would be to watch Hillary Clinton spend the next two years desperately trying to sell the country on HillaryCare, Part II.
