"I just took action to change the law"
(Excerpt) Read more at thehill.com ...
He’s just trying to legitimize his presidency. Foreigners aren’t supposed to be POTUS.
In other (non-Dem) words, he made a new law...not part of his job description.
If only it had been all about sex, sex, sex, maybe those spineless GOPe would take offense and do their duty.
He doesn’t understand how this country works because it isn’t his country.
Actually, he did nothing. He has no power to change the immigration law unilaterally. When will someone point out that the emperor has no clothes?
I’m just curious because I’ve been seeing this referenced in other posts. So are you saying that all he did was give lip service just to mislead his supporters and that no executive order was signed?
That is my take on it. Someone else has stated that no written document has been made public. Also, if you listen to what Obama says, it is just weasel words. He doesn’t grant amnesty, he says if they go through several steps, they get the temporary right to stay and word.
That’s not what they fed into TOTUS.
One more item into the impeachment basket
Next he’s going to start comparing himself to Napoleon Bonaparte.
When ins states officially they will not deport you, all kinds of near American benefits start.

(Thank you President Reagan)
Yes, but that is current policy. Not a law. The policy can be changed. I just saw another article that says “temporary amnesty” for three years. Why would illegals “come out of the shadows” for just a 3 year “amnesty?” They won’t. The situation hasn’t changed...
Now Obama will add millions of "parents" and "siblings" of "Dreamers" to his first batch. Again, without a law, and, as it appears so far, again without real opposition from the GOP.
Oh it can be changed via the next President for sure. It is a risky proposition for anyone to come forward as they very well could be deported at a later date.
And even if the program somehow did expire without an LPR track (it won't). So what? Then the illegals-with-cards would just go back to being illegals-without-cards. No problemo.
There's a lot more of those parents than there are of DACA-dreamer parents.
Obama didn’t do anything. He’s never enforced immigration laws.
The process is being perverted by regulations and that needs to stop.
This country needs a rewind and a POTUS who will do so much damage to the damage being done
that it would take the /cough "Progressives" five decades to recover. Cruz has already
said he wants to deregulate our country and I applaud him for being the only
one to openly say it.
Also the Gov needs to be downsized by 50%, and our Military brought back up to
wartime standards.
FUBO!
