Across the country on Monday night, people took to the streets to protest the grand jury decision to not indict Officer Darren Wilson in the August shooting of Michael Brown.
From Ferguson, Missouri, where Brown lived, to major cities like New York and Los Angeles, to places in between, the outrage over the decision was palpable. People of all ages and races hit the streets, some with signs, others holding their hands up in whats become an oft-used way of honoring the late 18-year-old, and others lying on the pavement, outlined by chalk.
While the reactions in Ferguson became at times chaotic cars and buildings were torched protests in other areas appeared to remain peaceful.
Below, take a look at the stirring images from across the nation.

GOOD ONE...take a look at post 29 and add him to the mix!!!
Indeed!
Yup. The crowds are surprisingly small. Not trivial, mind you, but just a couple hundred people where you normally see that many on sidewalks at any moment.
Umm
What happened?
Wasn’t there supposed to be a curfew?
THE DIFFERENCES...THERE WASN’T LOOTING, ARSON, ETC.
Also there wee a few issues that did get addressed that needed to be addressed, and the majority of university protests were very peaceful.
Your post 11....doesn’t fit the narrative.
Thugs supporting thugs. They are soooooo furious that there are inherent consequences involved in opting to live a thug’s life. That’s not surprising.
But what amazes me is that there are people who are not thugs who sympathize with them. Idiots! I hope those people get to meet lots and lots of thugs in their lives.
I think 3 of the 12 were black
All indications are that what we see in Ferguson is just a prelude of much worse things to come. When you have some of our highest government officials flaunting and subverting the rule of law and spewing lies and deceit with a perfectly straight face, what else would you expect from a poorly educated constituency which more often than has not even finished high school.. To expect anything else would be unrealistic to say the least, as slowly and surely all the things our society has sown over the past are coming home to roost and we better be prepared as there is much more of the same or worse to come.
The usual liberal sh*tholes in New York and LA held a meaningless protest made up of a few hundred knuckle-dragging, 50 IQ apes and 315 million Americans didn’t care.
Oh, the horror.
Mob mentality
Maybe one day “Howard University” will graduate a Thinker, rather than robots
Bunch of clueless, easily led racist women on parade.
And a black male agitator off to one side with a loud speaker driving them on like Muslim victoms going into the democrat slave yards.
WOOP there it IS
a High Schoo Rally....?
These small crowds are all they can muster after weeks of buildup? This will all go away soon.
Bunch of idiots lying on a dirty sidewalk. I like the two Asian looking chaps in the background with the “what a bunch of damned fools” look on their faces.
You are looking at the future leadership of the black community displayed before your eyes. Now 50 years into the great society promised by Lyndon Johnson and the Democratic Party they are frustrated and seem doomed to failure by self inflicted wounds.
After all the media protests, marches, affirmative action programs, equal opportunity employment, welfare assistance, lowered public education standards and testing, rioting, looting, and violence against mainstream American society, they must find perpetual excuses for their failure to integrate and become an equal part that society.
They have whined about race discrimination, Jewish hatred, white privilege, and other perceived ills inflicted on them by others outside the their community. They refuse to acknowledge the few black men and women who have successfully achieved the equality and acceptance they seek. Instead, they continue to support leadership who have deceived them and doomed them to fail.
Now they are led to believe a black life has no value. This can be true when black-on-black murder and abortion facts are considered. But I believe mainstream America still considers every life to have value and should not be wasted.
I believe the black community needs to do some soul searching. The black community has been plagued by children raised by one parent or grandparent with no father present for several generations. No government program is going to accomplish as much as the restoration of the black two parent family who raise their children under the guidance of G_D to become responsible members of society.
Nothing will change until they realize they must change from within.
My thought too. And then waking up and trying to remember if you did anything really bad, and looking for the cat.
Agreed!
I think that many pictures of our maimed veterans arising from the failed efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan would be chilling.
The clueless, retarded blacks and whites burning towns down, stealing others property and carrying moronic signs are just dumb, not chilling.
Wrong Adjective!
Wonder who’s paying the tuition for these “intellectuals”. I bet we get stuck with that debt.
I’m stirred...in my bowels, need to go visit the throne and take an occupy.
