It is too bad the owners of these business were not allowed to arm up and shoot dead- every person who threatened grave harm to their business.
Should have put help wanted signs as thug repellant.
Stupid is as stupid does!!!
“You seem to delight in worldliness.”
We uns jest loves Bammy, Da Regime, and be Democratic voters, fo sho.
How much “worldliness” do you think my gag reflex can stand?
From the perspective of both Old and New Testaments, those who were obstinate in their rejection of the social order were killed.
In my case, good enough for Moses is good enough for me. And, as an American, I believe the right to be secure in person and property is not to be infringed upon. Those who unlawfully so do, sign their own death warrant.
I particularly object to some Urban Feral forcing me to kill them. Can’t they go suicide elsewhere? Surely, there must be a road in which they could go play during rush hour.
That's just it. Insurance doesn't always cover damage incurred from "social unrest" or riots. It comes out of the owner's pocket.

“Mumbling in a church pulpit, I am so sorry to inform your blasphemous self, does not count.”
That is a very good line, so good it is likely to be Lobachevskyed.
However, where did I join the blasphemous? Search as I may, that membership card seems to be missing.
Personal property (i.e. - things) is "named peril," which means the loss type must be listed to be covered. Again, on a personal lines Homeowners policy - Riot & Civil Commotion is specifically listed as a loss that is covered.
There is normally an exclusion for "War or warlike actions," but it's been pretty narrowly defined (for instance - property from 9/11 was covered since the terrorist act wasn't an official "act of war.")
Michael Brown’s “Burn This Bitch Down” ahole stepfather should be arrested for inciting a riot.
Bronco has had another day to think about what to say and yet he postulates dim wittingly” a grand jury yesterday made a decision that upset a lot of people”.??
Tell that excuse to the real victims rightfully upset by the upset pass recipients.
The picture of that unfortunate woman brought tears to my eyes. I hope things work out for her. Prayers up.
Good point; I remember Crown Heights.
What difference does it makes?
If someone gets it going, please ping me, as I would donate to help someone like this. That poor woman’s tear-stained face is haunting me.
Thanks for that URL. Blessings on you.
Seriously, minority gangs fighting minority gangs is the norm. People in the neighborhoods where the gangs fight are usually minorities and often also get hurt.
Nothing is surprising about the owners of the damaged businesses being minority businessmen. The real shame is that they will probably leave serving the neighborhood and stop employing people from those neighborhoods. But that is what lawlessness is all about.
There are already crowdfunding set ups for Natalie and her bakery, as well as for the man who owned the convenience store that Michael Brown robbed before attacking Darren Wilson. That man’s store was looted and destroyed during the riot as well.
