FERGUSON, Missouri----KMOV-TV reports that the majority of stores that were damaged or completely destroyed during Monday night's violent riots in Ferguson were minority owned. Fire Departments around the St. Louis County Area put out 25 structural fires caused by vandals and looters following the announcement from the grand jury that Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted in the death of Mike Brown.
Most of the damaged businesses were on West Florissant Avenue and included: Walgreens, Little Caesers Pizza, Autozone, Beauty Town, Title Max, Family Dollar Store, and O'Reilly Auto Parts. Small-business owner Natalie Dubose was in tears when she realized her cake store was attacked by vandals.
Dubose, a mother of two, previously told CNN, "If I can't open my doors every morning, I can't feed my kids in the evening. Just don't burn my shop down, don't destroy it."

I would, if there existed some way to accomplish that outcome without having most of the funds raised get ripped off.
Isn't that the sort of thing that A-A celebrities, sports multi-millionaires, and politicians might be able to organize more effectively than a bunch of random conservatives can?
I mean, St. Louis must have quite a few successful A-A businesspersons, who would know how to get financial help to those who need it and can use it and won't waste too much of it.
I can't believe it would take even $50K to get Natilie Dubose's cake business back on its feet, if she wants to try again in Ferguson.
That, the USSC made very clear. Police might be barred from certain kinds of doing harm, but they have no legal obligation to help. And the situation now pretty much challenged their moral obligation to help too. They demonstrated that last night, and it’s difficult to blame them for wanting to teach that lesson.
Personal policies often don’t — there is a civil commotion exclusion in my car policy, for example.
Yep, disaster money.
Pay up whitey nation, look what you caused us to do!
They need a good stiff shot of gospel, one that tells them to forget the Wrong Rev. Wright, that God really has better things to do than damn, but you got to act like it if you want to take advantage of it.
As are all the homeowners in Ferguson. Can you imagine what has happened to the home values in Ferguson over the last 3 months? Detroit on steroids!
That was like the Nazis billing the Jews for the damage during Krystallnacht because “The Jews started it, and made them do it.”
Good point. Stop Snitchin' doesn't exactly set your community up for lots of police heroism when mob violence comes to town.
Personal policies are more restrictive than commercial ones on riot or civil commotion coverage.
If federal tax dollars are involved in rebuilding Ferguson...
errrrggg...
Let’s just put it this way - it should be something our congressmen stand up on their hind legs about.
Minority owned, but apparently not Korean owned.

Good idea, just make sure these innocent people don’t get further damage done by those wanting to help them. Do it just don’t promise.

Poor woman.
They punished her for her bourgeois, white ideas of prosperity.
The police are not required to show up. They are only liable if they do something like only showing up when whites are robbed. If they don’t show up for anyone, there’s no legal liability. Dinkins won that again in regards the Crown Heights riots, reaffirming the longstanding principle.
After seeing the Tweets from Magic Johnson and Katy Perry I will give the same percentage ,of my net worth, as Magic or Katy give of theirs’!
