Me too. I grew up in NYC, and I still remember standing in Riverside Park with the cop - a young guy (well, I thought he was ancient then) with red hair - tapping his nightstick in his hand and telling us kids that if we didn’t stop throwing rocks at each other, he’d really give us something to cry about! It worked, we certainly weren’t the best of friends afterwards, but at least we went home to mother without any damage.
