A grand jury has reached a decision on whether to indict Darren Wilson, the white Ferguson, Mo. police officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager sparked days of turbulent protests, sources close to the process said.
Sources said that press conferences are being prepared by the county prosecutors office and the Missouri governor. Those press conferences will likely come later today.

I’m sure they are already close by. The governor would already know the GJ findings.
The governor should have them hold off until a big snowstorm hits.
“Thatll leave working people time to get home so they can defend their property. Also, vacate the businesses that are about to be looted and burned.”
I just hope they don’t run into bottlenecks what with road blocks, emergency traffic, etc. It would be hell to be trapped in one’s car in the middle of chaos.
The snowjob started in August.
Same think with the Zimmerman case, but he got indicted anyway. When the full force of the entire US government is coming down on you, it's hard for a grand jury to not decide to pass the buck and let some future trial jury deal with it.
DITTO!!
bkmk
The whole thing is being run by government, so it could happen, even with some lesser charge to appease. Then a trail lasting until the Fall of 2015??
Another year of this?
That alone would probably be enough for most who’ve had enough of this insanity move far away from St. Louis.
It’s about time. It’s very cold there and children have no school this week. I pray no one gets hurt but if the protesters don’t get the decision they want, it will be a just payback. Hope the jurors did the right thing by the evidence and were not compromised.
Trial too....
I had to read that a few times before I burst out laughing.
Personally, if I lived in that area, I would have move any valuables out of my residence and into a storage unit far away. I would also have bags of necessities ready to grab and leave town in a hurry.
No way that happens.
BTT
Still think the cold will help.
“”””the rioting will happen regardless of an indictment or not”””””
Guilty or not is not going to make the ‘hate whitey’ thought go away. Whitey must pay.
Besides, Tyrone already has his heart set on 51” Samsung.
M-14s are hard to come by.
.
Remember the truck driver in LA who was pulled out of his truck and beaten up by a group of thugs back in the Rodney King riot?
“Still think the cold will help.”
That should keep the crowds in areas the authorities
could control better, just a thought.
