However, I must quibble with one correction. You won’t be shot BY A COP. However, walking through certain neighberhoods might just get you shot for being white.

I was once on a long weekend trip in Chicago. Well, I was walking from one bar to another along a rather major road that was very busy. Might have been Rush street.
Well, I decided I needed to take a break and get some fresh air, and I noticed a bench just a bit down the side street. Honestly, it might have been 20 yards down the street, but it was just out of reach of the street light. I wasn’t worried.
Until a brutha approached me and told me I should get back to the main street. I innocently asked why and he said, “your kind ain’t welcome here!” Then he was kind enough to point out the folks that were “scoping me out and getting restless.”
It was rather surreal.....Whitey isn’t even welcome on a public bench, but he be the racist.
Now it’s about minimum wage?
I hope they all get the Billy Club treatment to their noggins.
