The first one or two people doing something can hardly be called a trend. Yet, all trends start with a movement of One.
UKIP gained a second seat in British parliament as a result of a special election following a Tory defection to UKIP. The first UKIP seat also came from a special election following a Tory defection. Two other Tories are allegedly considering switching parties to UKIP.
Prime minister David Cameron's Tories are clearly under pressure.

This could get really ugly rather fast.
The UK should not have let the millions of Muslims into the UK but getting them out is going to be tough and make no mistake, the UKIP want to deport at least some of them. What I find interesting is that my British Son-in-Law who is a hard leftist has more sympathy for the UKIP than the Tories. He really does not like the Labour immigration policies.
It is the UK Parliament. Britain should have its own though.
They have now surpassed the Alliance Party, Respect Party and Green Party, each of which has 1 seat.
Next up is the Social Democrat & Labour Party with 3 and the Plaid Cymru with 3.
Then Sunn Fein with 5, although they are in abstentia.
Then the Scottish Nationalist Party with 6 and then the Democratic Unionist Party with 8 seats.
...................
Of course they are not worried about these parties.
Thanks Kaslin.

London is no longer an English city, says John Cleese. Is he right?

Well, let us look when I stayed in London I saw a lot of no European people. At Knotting hill there was more middle easterns than whites. That was in 02. Also the same year that the muslim in Hyde Park made the speech about England becoming the first muslim nations in Europe.
The only way to get the Muslims out of UK, is to suspend Parliament, transfer absolute power back to the crown. So yeah, that’s not going to happen.
The British let the Muslims in decades ago. I think most of the objections to immigration in Britain today are aimed at Eastern Europeans. Poles actually work. Which means they compete for jobs.
“The British let the Muslims in decades ago. I think most of the objections to immigration in Britain today are aimed at Eastern Europeans. Poles actually work.”
Spent 10 days in London a few years ago. EVERY single taxi driver complained bitterly about the Muslims with no prompting from me. None complained about Poles.
That was London. Out of curiosity, what ethnicity were the cab drivers mostly?
Some parts of London are astonishing.
A few years ago I took in a soccer match at Crystal Palace FC’s Selhurst Park stadium in the south London borough of Croydon.
I took the train south from Victoria Station (near Buckingham Palace), got into a nice conversation with a couple of Crystal Palace fans, who showed me the best way to get to the stadium. We got off at a station called Thornton Heath, and walked probably one-half mile to the stadium. The street ran through a Pakistani moslem business district; it was well and truly like being in Karachi. Never felt unsafe; but it was totally outside anything I had ever experienced before.
Same thing happens in Brussels.
First Muslim nation is Europe. There are already several - Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia, Turkey (has a section in Europe) and does Azerbaijan, Kazahkstan count as Europe? And there are several Russian Federation States in the Caucasus; Dagestan, Chechnya and others? But who’s counting.
White, working-class. Male and female.
Think Jews in Germany 1941, Think Jews in York 1250? The new progrom will be Islamic people going to their deaths in a pattern as old as time. Sad, but history is cruel. Those who will not change will be driven out or marginalised like the Gypsies ( they fix things, read fortunes, dance and steal anything not nailed down—but harmless).
How is it that Muslim behavior as a minority is anything like Jewish behavior? As a group, they are not at all "harmless."
I should have stated Western Europe.
