She was a donor.

She was brain dead.

They followed her wishes.

Some of you think hospitals are giddy about this stuff. They are not.

She wasn’t a kid and the parents cannot stop the process if she had affirmatively signed the docs.

Precisely.

To many, the desires of the deceased or their lawful representatives, is irrelevant.

This should be a non-story.

I want everything I have to go to someone else (not sure what condition they will be but some paint and primer might make it worthwhile).

An no one has the right to contest that.

Yeah, not dead yet has nothing to do with it huh.

Anyway, my family gets to decide about me.

I worked for 20+ years at a world famous hospital whose fame includes having performed the first successful kidney transplant in medical history. And since that history making event it's made history in the fields of heart, liver and lung transplants.I've seen hundreds of patients whose lives were saved by transplants.

Also,my favorite cousin died while waiting for a heart/lung transplant.

Of course you don't take organs from those who are still alive unless they specifically consent. But the claim that the patient was "technically" still alive doesn't ring true with me...particularly because of my experience in critical care medicine.
