In a move that appears to be calculated to pacify rioters who have promised violence if Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson is not indicted for his role in the shooting death of Michael Brown, the Ferguson Grand Jury has announced that they have been unable to come to an agreement on the indictment
The grand jury left the justice center in St. Louis, Missouri, late Friday without having reached a decision on whether to indict Wilson who reportedly shot a robbery suspect, Michael Brown, when Brown attacked the officer.
Since the shooting, the St. Louis suburb has endured mass riots and looting. Many groups, including the Black Panthers, have promised violence if Wilson is not indicted for having shot the black teenager in August.
Autopsy reports support Wilsons account and Ferguson has been bracing for mass violence in recent days as the grand jury has been expected to hand down a refusal to indict. However, with the near-constant threat of mass violence looming, it may be that the grand jury has bowed to the threats of violence and property damage that would devastate their community and have been unable to come to an agreement.
President Obama spoke on Friday about the escalating situation in Ferguson:
This is a country that allows everybody to express their views, allows them to peacefully assemble, to protest actions that they think are unjust, Obama told ABC News. But using any event as an excuse for violence is contrary to rule of law and contrary to who we are.
Obama was apparently unaware of the irony of his lecturing on the value of the rule of law on the same day that he signed an executive order granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants without Congressional approval.
“Reverend” Al is going to need a lot of batteries for his bullhorn. LOL! He might even have to dig out his old Mr. T starter kit medallions again.
I’ll wait for the Drudge Headline. This is the second report I have seen, but I have seen two others that claim that the verdict has been in for a week and they were holding release for the best news cycle effect.
That’s a bit odd in that this GJ doesn’t actually have to agree on anything other than to take a vote on a potential indictment. Then, according to prior reports, nine of the twelve jurors need to vote for an indictment. Thus, it seems to me they have decided not to vote until they can get away with it with minimal violence, possibly Wednesday night just before Thanksgiving.
Sharpton could not immediately be reached for comment.
So does this go back to another Grand Jury?
Or is there simply a failure to indict?
Has this Grand Jury been dismissed? Will they meet next week?
Or they will announce something when a huge blizzard paralyzes the area.
Yes. It's not at all unusual for a grand jury to take the weekend off... in fact it would be highly unusual for a grand jury (not to be confused with a trial jury) to work weekends.
“Let’s riot because they didn’t reach the verdict we wanted”
Like I said before, they are waiting for the coldest day in January to reveal their actual decision.
I can’t find this anywhere else.
Eric Holder will issue a statement later after he has had a dinner of kittens and puppies.
Since it takes 9 votes to indict and if you don’t get 9 there is no indictment, this headline is B.S. There is not a no decision option.
Doesn’t really matter whether the starting gun has blanks or bullets, most everyone wants to get the party started.
Rioters want to riot, haters want to hate, armed citizens want to put a bunch of rioters six feet under, and the malevolent Just Us Department is so incompetent in trying to direct the rioters that they couldn’t find their respective rear ends with a road map and a flashlight.
Maybe they can rustle up some anarchists, or somebody who knows how to riot properly. This current batch are worthless.
What EO? Got a number? I haven't seen one.

I know that, but it’s in the title, and if you noticed I did not put it in the topics
So, when did the USA become the country where there is THE RULE OF LAW._ It´s the country of the RULE of the RULER.
I think that the headline might be a deception to buy more time, orthey will meet again after Thanksgiving. I guess the local government feels if they stall long enough the issue will go away in the streets.
I thought GJs couldn’t hang. that no decision was no indictment.
He’s gonna riot anyway
