We left that day and the mall was spotless... In hindsight, it was a mistake to leave so soon. If all the Tea Party folks had stayed put for a month, they could have broken Fedzilla's back and saved the republic.

Sadly (for the cause of protesting for a long while) most Tea Party folks actually have jobs, unlike the Ferguson protesters and the Occupy folks. It would be tough to find a way to keep that many people there, but I do agree with you.

In hindsight, it was a mistake to leave so soon. If all the Tea Party folks had stayed put for a month, they could have broken Fedzilla's back and saved the republic. . . . always assuming that everyone, or even very many of us, could, logistically, have done that. The thing I never really knew was, Who were those guys? You were there, I was there, there were something on the order of a couple hundred FReepers/spouses there. Who else promoted that gathering??? By a long shot, it wasnt just FReepers - and we have to know that FReepers alone could not, sadly, orchestrate a repeat. Certainly not in the winter.
