A caller to the Rush Limbaugh show just pointed out the fatal flaw in the Obama immigration plan:
Any illegal alien who signs up for a work permit, pays their fines/taxes, etc will automatically become a part of a data base that could be used to find them when the regime changes as it assuredly will someday.
Since Obama's Executive Order does not carry the force of law and is not permanent, this list could then be used to find the illegal immigrants and depost them.
Therefore no one will sign up for Obamas' work permit program.
This has been discussed on several threads here over the last few days.
Once again FR is ahead of the curve! And probably acting as show-prep for Lumbaugh...

I was listening to NPR this morning and they were interviewing illegals in Texas. And it basically sounded like they thought they had two years reprieve from deportation and had no intention of registering during that time.
Some of us have been mentioning that we are happy for the illegals to ‘come out of the shadows’. Their King cannot protect them forever. The Dems don’t give a damn about the illegals. Dems care only about power so they will play this down.
The bigger problem with illegals is that “business” likes them because they often pay them off the books, and pay they substantially less than the legal workers who have to pay taxes, etc. When an illegal “gets right with the government and pays his taxes” as Obola said last night, he instantly becomes less valuable because his “employer” now has to treat him just like a legal worker. As for the “cash only” workers, their “employers” will either have to fire them before they earn $600 each year, or 1099 them, or face being found out by the IRS for not collecting taxes. This is not going to be a panacea for the illegals, and I am betting that a lot of those who are “eligible” for Obama’s kindness will opt to stay in the shadows because it will be the only way that they are competitive in the labor market.

Since most of the law breakers that have committed Fraud, ID theft, tax evasion, tax fraud... are never arrested despite EVIDENCE that the IRS has and the Social Security Administration, they won’t have ‘criminal records’ when DHS checks them.
And I forgot to mention that there was no applause after the speech in the venue where the illegals were listening to Obama

The caller is partly correct. Applications are supposed to be available early next year, after the GOP majority will have reported for duty. There are fees, background checks and supporting docs required. The majority of Illegals are happy to take the delayed/suspended deportation part, but that’s it. If they get more than 25% of the 5 million to apply, I’ll eat a week old litter-box.
Obama knows damn well they wont apply. It’s all bait.

Mark Levin addressed this to some extent a few weeks ago. Essentially, if an executive order bestows a person with something...its a lot harder to take it away. So it certainly won’t be as simple as revoking the executive order. The courts will become involved. Ergo, its important to fight this fully right now, before 5 million people have new ‘rights’ that can’t be taken away.
I wish we could get a republican president with a pair of balls. He could, on day one, revoke all of Obama’s executive orders. Then he could issue a new order that all illegal aliens will be escorted out of the country, and all of their assets seized (in that they were obtained illegally). Then he could issue an executive order that their children, though born here, no longer receive American citizenship. See the havoc you have unleashed, Mr Obama?
