Reid is just doing his usual, nasty, partisan sniping.
Remember that this EO isn’t permanent. It automaticalle expires in 2 or 3 years. Remember that a lot of Dems said that the Clinton Assault Weapons ban would never be undone, despite having a 10 year sunset clause.
So the next President can just (as Bush did with the AWB) passively, allow it to expire. At that point the Gvt has a list of all the illegals who rec’d amnesty under this program. They’ll have SSNs so the Gvt will know where they live, will know whether they voted, who they work for.
The truth is that any illegal who registers for this is going to be taking a huge
risk, given the amount of information the government will now have on them. And how the government, under a different President, can take action against not only them, but perhaps more importantly their employers, if it’s allowed to expire.
the sophistry of his use of the term IMMIGRANT....was unmatched in modern history.
said usage was akin to calling a thief an investor!
America far far brigher than this gaggle of pukes could imagine
How can an Executive Order be defunded??
DL’s, and auto voter registration. That is what this is about.
B T T T
Exactly. WE THE PEOPLE need to act. If we sit back and say nothing will change then nothing will change
The same way every other government program is funded/defunded....by Congress.
He must think he’s judge Roy Bean what a bone head he will pay for that action by both sides.
Harry Reid doesn’t understand - we’ve won. Now we’re just running out the clock.
NO...go back and rethink that one.

Can we cut the power to the White House?
No....no need to go back and “rethink that one”. I’d already heard about Hal Rogers’ claim, yesterday.
I happen to DISAGREE with Rogers and AGREE with Rep Steve King and Sen Jeff Sessions....
...Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), who wants to defund the order, said he didnt buy the argument from appropriators.
I just don’t believe that, he told reporters.
“They’re contriving red herring arguments to get to the point that enough members will walk out of this Congress and go home for Thanksgiving saying, ‘Well, there’s nothing we can do.’ “
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) also dismissed the argument and said lawmakers could attach language to an appropriations bill that would result in defunding the order.
The American peoples Congress has the power and every right to deny funding for unworthy activities, he said. It is a routine and constitutional application of congressional power. There is no question that Congress has the power to block this expenditure and no doubt that it can be done.
And....speaking of Hal Rogers “cover for amnesty” claim....isn’t this rich?
Dem: ‘Excellent’ that GOP panel called defunding ‘impossible’
...Senate Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) on Friday said her Republican counterpart in the House provided an excellent analysis of the reasons why Congress couldnt block President Obama’s immigration action through appropriations.
I thought [House Appropriations Committee] Chairman Hal Rogers [R-Ky.] put out an excellent statement. I support his analysis.
Sorry, Kack...I’ll stand with Rep King and Sen Sessions, over Hal RINO Rogers and the Dims. Now...whether or not Bonehead will actually follow through with defunding ANY of 0bola’s lawless policies, is quite another thing.
