I can make all the noise I want. I’ve been beating this dead horse since around 1995, when it dawned on me what was down the road.
I have tried to wake folks up to this every step of the way.
It took ten years before people were willing to listen at all. Up until then I was cursed, called a racist, or simply laughed at.
Well, here we are. It’s not quite so funny now.
Yes, you are correct! We tried. Yes, this is our world.
If someone called you racist or laughed...they simply weren’t paying attention to what was going on around them. I would say that what you have been saying is aware...and prescient.
We don’t live in the same state, but deal with many of the same problems. I have seen large areas of major cities become “Mexico-ized”. I don’t mean that to be racist. I mean the areas look like Mexico (and I don’t mean the tourist areas), billboards in Spanish, schools forced to teach in Spanish. When the protests happened a couple of years ago I was amazed. The streets were flooded. Aren’t these people supposed to be “hiding in the shadows”?
With chain migration...we will be sunk. Other states will see this occurrence ...if they haven’t already.
