With rape allegations against Bill Cosby mounting, supermodel Janice Dickinson tells ET in a new interview that the comedian sexually assaulted her in 1982.
Dickinson, now 59, recalls first meeting Cosby, now 77, when her agent set up a meeting with him to hire her for a role on The Cosby Show. After they had dinner, she says their next conversation was when he called her out of the blue while she was in rehab for drugs and alcohol. Following her stay in rehab, Dickinson says Cosby reached out to her during a trip to Bali and had her travel to Lake Tahoe, because he was performing there and wanted to offer her the job they had discussed as well as help her with a singing career.
Dickinson says they had dinner in Lake Tahoe, and claims that he gave her a glass of red wine and a pill, which she asked for because she was menstruating and had stomach pains.

And that's when she tells ET that things took a disturbing turn.
"The next morning I woke up, and I wasn't wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man," she tells ET. "... Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs."

Bingo!
Nobody, but you so far, has mentioned that besmirching the good name of a beloved black actor, was a big thing.
Cosby looks guilty here. So far only white women are making allegations
From the article "Dickinson says that keeping the alleged sexual assault a secret for 32 years drove her to a life of hurting herself."
With her history of drug and alcohol abuse, it sounds like she was already well-practiced in the art of hurting herself before the alleged rape.
To believe in a gracious God like that is a revolution. Sometimes we punish ourselves worse than we ever punish the people who did us wrong and that we now bitterly hate. When God wants to forgive and we buck Him, the results can knock us around badly.
It is not just a Catholic priest thing, it happens in many situations where someone has secluded access to children. A creep will creep in, and disaster results.
The encounter sounds like it was not helpful, however.
The photo of her on Drudge’s site is horrid, as are some of the other pics I found on the net. She’s obviously gone overboard with the plastic surgery & botox injections.
It would have been viewed like spitting on MLK or something.
I pretty much agree with what you said, but that doesn’t answer these questions.
Who was keeping it suppressed to begin with ?
Why did this suddenly come up after he told the black thug community that they were a disgrace to the nation ?
It’s a moral wrong, but if it is no longer a legally actionable thing, it would take a constitutional amendment removing the no ex post facto law provision. Rotsa ruck doing that. Sometimes we have to face reality.
He was a frequent flyer and semi-permanent resident of Hef’s Playboy mansion in L.A. in the 60s.
That might be where he developed his taste.
Hey, he left her like $200 bucks on the table, so why is she griping ?
There may be no “why” to the timing other than a slowly percolating pot that suddenly boils over.
Supposedly, 14 women were set to testify before he settled out of court.
Before that, each girl probably thought they were the only ones, so why bother? NOBODY would take my word against millionaire superstar Bill Cosby.
Maybe the Ferguson gang viewed this as a bridge too far for the old comedian, and knowing the stories, decided to start agitating against Cosby. He finally did something where having integrity would have counted.
And I believe Juanita Broaddrick"
There’s a fallacy here strictly speaking. Conventional psychospeak is that “nobody gets over a rape [child abuse, spousal beating you name it].”
This really isn’t true. Earthly revenges indeed generally fall short of resolving such things. It needs a true act of God, and God might or might not punish the offender in the offendee’s view.
Lots of my friends used to listen to Cosby when we were kids, had his records, thought he was the funniest comic going. A few years ago I saw some old videos posted on youtube. I was really surprised to see how ANGRY he was while going through his routines. He seemed to be boiling over mad. Really disappointed me, I thought I had found something worth watching, but after one, well, that was enough. What a shame, he has really spoken well for people taking responsibility for their actions.
***************** this came out a few months ago before the rape allegations. Your take on Bill Cosby is correct. He’s just a nasty smelly ol horn dog rapist and hopefully he will live the rest of his life in disgrace. My parents loved the Bill Cosby show and its propaganda. They would get pissed off when I put it down. That show always seemed so phoney, not that I saw more than 5 minutes in my life. I could tell by the buzz around it was a liberal garbage

On phonograph records you could not see his face.
Maybe he was trying to purge himself of irritations in his life through joking.
